As we move into October, I wanted to take a moment to highlight some important days and events on our OM calendar this month. Please take note and help ensure we’re all set for these special days!
All Month Long – Dental Hygiene Awareness Month
We’ll be promoting the importance of dental hygiene throughout the month. Let’s make sure our families are aware of resources, fun activities, and tips to encourage kids to brush and floss daily!
October 4th – World Smile Day
A perfect day for us to celebrate what we do! Let’s plan to bring extra cheer and smiles to everyone we interact with on this day. Feel free to get creative with smile-themed decorations, activities, or photo opportunities.
October 14th – Indigenous Peoples’ Day
A day to honor and recognize the history and cultures of Indigenous peoples. We encourage reflection and education around this important day. Let’s consider incorporating some educational materials or displays to foster awareness!
October 24th – Food Day: Bakers Bash
A fun and delicious event! We’ll be celebrating Food Day with our Bakers Bash. Let’s prepare to bake up some treats, and if you have ideas for interactive baking activities with families, we’d love to hear them.
October 28th-31st – Halloween Dress Up
Our Halloween dress-up event will run for the last four days of the month! Everyone is encouraged to wear fun costumes and bring the festive spirit. Be sure to coordinate with the team to ensure we have everything ready for a spooky, fun celebration.
Thank you all for your continued dedication and hard work. Let’s make October a month full of smiles, fun, and awareness!
